  • Representing clients in major contractual disputes in a wide number of sectors, boardroom disputes and shareholder claims, partnership disputes, professional indemnity, insolvency, commercial fraud and international asset tracing, engineering, IP, breach of restrictive covenant disputes, jurisdictional disputes and trade defamation disputes. This has involved litigation in all courts including appellate courts, urgent applications for injunctions and interim relief, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), including many high value mediations.
  • Representing an international pharmaceutical company in a multi-million dollar claim for recovery of contractual royalties against a large overseas corporation (ICC arbitration); advising client in engineering sector in relation to substantial claims for the cost of upgrades arising out of an agreement for the hire of specialist maintenance equipment; successfully defending listed US corporation in breach of contract/IP infringement claim by UK company in relation to a Licence of Industrial Designs Agreement; representing trustees of a charitable trust in multi-million pound claim for professional negligence against a major international bank in relation to alleged unsuitable investments; representing sellers in substantial claims for breach of warranty brought by the parties in relation to alleged inaccuracies in the parties' accounts at the time of completion of share purchase.
