  1. Pickfords v Celastica – Court of Appeal (Civil Division): analysis of offer and counter offer and revocation of contract
  2. M Young Legal Associates v Zahid Solicitors – Court of Appeal (Civil Division): relevance of profit share to partnership
  3. Lancore Services Ltd v Barclays Bank – Court of Appeal (Civil Division): acting for a payment services provider in a claim arising out of the Bank’s role as a merchant acquirer in the credit card payment system seeking restitution of £2M and the availability of an illegality defense. The first reported case on the operation of the Visa and MasterCard scheme rules
  4. BVM Management Ltd v Roger Yeomans t/a The Great Hall at Mains and another - Court of Appeal (Civil Division): Interpretation of oral contracts.
  5. Joseph Fielding Properties (Blackpool) Ltd v Aviva Insurance – Mercantile Court: avoidance of an insurance policy from inception under a general condition where it was alleged the claim was fraudulently and intentionally exaggerated and the importance of  non-disclosure of false statements to prior insurers.
