Experience

  • With a strong background in casualty claims, I specialise in defending disease claims, notably those arising from alleged asbestos exposure.
  • I also handle a full range of casualty claims on behalf of insurers in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session. My work involves all aspects of casualty claims advice including complex motor, employers' and public liability claims (with a focus on major loss and large loss catastrophic injury claims) product liability and policy indemnity.
  • I regularly provide training to insurer clients on all aspects of Scottish Claims and litigation, including Health & Safety Regulations.
  • I am the Scottish representative for London Market insurers and have an interest in animal, veterinary and equestrian litigation.
