  • I head up BLM’s employment team in London.
  • After starting my legal career as an in house lawyer for a FTSE 100 organisation, I have worked in private practice in the City for the last 19 years as a senior employment law specialist.
  • I provide businesses and their HR teams with high level, strategic, commercially focused, legal advice and support on all aspects of employment law including boardroom disputes, business re organisations, TUPE, handling grievances, managing performance, capability and conduct issues in the workplace and dismissals.
  • I also act on behalf of both employers and high net worth individuals in conducting employment litigation in both the employment tribunal and civil courts, including handling claims of unfair dismissal, discrimination, bonus disputes and the enforcement of post termination restrictions.
  • I also advise on all aspects of business immigration law, in particular tiers 1 and 2.
  • My clients include a number of household names, spread across a wide range of sectors including insurance, finance, hospitality, retail, recruitment, logistic and sport.
  • During these challenging times, my practice is currently focused on helping and advising businesses on managing their workforce and staffing solutions available to them, including furloughing through the UK Government’s Coronavirus job retention scheme.
  • I provide regular commentary on all aspects of employment law for The Times, The Telegraph, The Independent, as well as specialist HR publications including Personnel Today, the Recruiter and HR Magazine.
