Experience

• I am a business adviser and employment lawyer, and before joining BLM, I was head of employment at two other national law firms.
• I have been advising businesses and senior executives for 25 years, during which time I have worked with household names, international companies and brands, government institutions, local authorities and leading charities.
• I specialise in strategic employment issues, including reorganisation and restructuring, TUPE transfers, restrictive covenant enforcement and executive terminations, particularly  those involving complex share options, quasi partnership or shareholder issues.
• My education law practice includes advising foundation and academy schools and multi-academy trusts (MATs) on a full range of education law issues, including admissions, governance, employment and safeguarding.
   

Membership/appointments

• I am the chair of governors of the Loreto grammar school, Altrincham and a trust board member of Park Road Primary School, Timperley, both of which are Outstanding schools. I am a trustee of the Tutor Trust, winner of “Best New Charity” at the 2016 Charity Times Awards.
