  • I specialise in defending complex and high value clinical negligence claims, handling claims valued at up to £10million for healthcare, medical defence organisations and private insurers. Additionally I have significant experience of settlements involving periodical payments.   
  • I work with BLM’s product liability department on claims involving product liability issues, particularly in the field of cosmetic non-surgical treatments. I lead on product liability issues within the healthcare departments,  presenting training and various talks on product liability and cosmetic treatment.
  • I have advised clients on a range of healthcare and product crossover issues, including the PIP breast implants litigation. Currently I am engaged in a group litigation arising from mixed metal on metal replacement hips. 
  • I am a healthcare representative within BLM’s catastrophic injury group.
  • In 1999 I qualified as a solicitor having trained within the Government Legal Service. 
  • In 2008 I joined BLM's healthcare team and was promoted to partner in 2010.
  • I have been actively engaged in horizon scanning and BLM’s “RED” campaign, producing articles and updates on non-surgical cosmetic treatments, healthcare trends and emerging risks.
