Gavin Campbell

Experience

• I deal with all aspects of personal injury litigation and specialise in defending catastrophic injury cases, fraudulent and exaggerated claims and disease cases. I have a wealth of experience in dealing with employer’s liability, public liability and RTA cases in both jurisdictions. I also lecture on High Court procedures in the Institute of Professional Legal Studies attached to Queens University Belfast and at the University of Ulster.
• I assisted Zurich Insurance in formulating their submissions to the Supreme Court in the case of Summers v Fairclough Homes (2012). These submissions related to the law in Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland on fraud.
• I split my time between the Dublin and Derry offices.
• I qualified in Ireland in 1984 and in Northern Ireland in 1985, became a partner in Campbell Fitzpatrick since its inception, and with the move to BLM in 2014.
