At BLM, I head up Family Law for England & Wales. I specialise in all aspects of family law including: adoption, Child Abduction, Child Arrangements, Complex contested children matters, Divorce, Dissolution of Civil Partnership, Matrimonial Financial matters , International Children matters, International and internal Relocation of Children, Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements, Special Guardianship, and Unmarried cohabitation disputes.
I have extensive experience in dealing with complex financial matters arising from divorce or the dissolution of a civil partnership with an emphasis on matters involving business assets and assets abroad. I have undertaken numerous cases dealing with farming matters and routinely represent high profile and high net worth individuals.
I have significant experience in dealing with complex matters concerning the arrangements for children with an international element. I regularly conduct cases involving the application of the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of Child Abduction and permission to remove children from the jurisdiction of England and Wales. As a result, I regularly appeared in the High Court.
I enjoy dealing with matters relating to the arrangements for children as well as specific issues such as health and education matters and private adoption, and linked to that I have developed a practice in representing grandparents in matters concerning children.
