Experience
I work as an Associate in BLM’s Commercial Advisory Team in Manchester. I handle non-contentious corporate and commercial matters. I also advise clients on how they may protect and exploit their intellectual property rights and I am particularly interested in brand protection.
I have significant experience of working in private practice and also in industry.
In 2008 I established my own corporate firm in Lancashire developing the business and achieving year-on-year growth.
Subsequently I worked in industry as Sole Legal Counsel for a fast-paced FinTech group of companies, dealing with all internal legal requirements as well as handling complex FCA and other regulatory issues.
I work closely with business owners, decision makers and their advisers on a daily basis.
I provide sensible solutions in plain English to complex legal problems. I drill down to the issues which are important to clients and I advise on key areas of risk so that my clients go forward with their eyes wide open.
I provide an agile service and use the latest technology to ensure that my clients have a response when they need it.
