  • I qualified as a solicitor in 2012 and work in BLM’s Family Team in Glasgow.
  • I practice in all aspects of family law, including: parental responsibilities and parental rights including regulating the care arrangements for children specifically residence, contact and specific issues. Divorce and financial provision upon divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, cessation of cohabitation disputes, preparation of cohabitation and separation agreements including pre and post nuptial. Protective orders, including interdicts, powers of arrest, non-harassment orders, aliment, child maintenance, school fees with attendant costs, division and sale and alternative dispute resolution.
  • I frequently conduct all types of family law cases within the Sheriff Court.
  • I regularly am instructed in complex financial provision disputes involving pension sharing, shares and share options and substantial business assets.
  • I am regularly involved in financial provision cases seeking unequal division based upon economic burden of child care, economic disadvantage and source of funds.
  • I have been involved in the preparation of complex financial provision cases upon divorce at the Court of Session for high net worth clients.
  • I am particularly interested in child contact and residence disputes including cross border disputes nationally and internationally.
  • I regularly advise on child maintenance, school fees and top up maintenance.
  • I regularly represent parents in assisting them to regulate all aspects of child care arrangements, including routine arrangements and arrangements during holiday periods, specific issues concerning their welfare and the financial obligations in respect of children.
  • I contribute and write articles and blogs for the Family Team Scotland on family law topics
