We will fight them on the beaches: tales from the front line in the war against fraudulent personal injury claims

22 Aug 2016

BLM partner Gavin Campbell has spoken to the Irish Independent about the ongoing battle against insurance fraud and his experiences throughout his career in dealing with fraudulent claims for insurer customers.

In his article, Gavin discusses the noteworthy cases that both he and his team have been involved with to help keep fraud at the top of the agenda in Ireland. He also discusses the anti-fraud provisions of the 2004 Civil Liability and Courts Act 2004 in Ireland which, of course, was cited in the BLM UK Supreme Court case of Fairclough Homes v Summers and furthermore, which resulted in implementation of section 57 of the Criminal Justice and Courts Act which relates to fundamental dishonesty.

You can read Gavin's full article here on the Irish Independent website.
