BLM partner, Peter Campbell has spoken to the Belfast Telegraph about his pride for his team at BLM, recent regulatory decisions that are impacting his clients, his career path to becoming a partner in law and his passion for the outdoors.
Speaking to the newspaper recently, Peter enthused over the "fantastic workforce" at BLM and said, "I take pride in our approach to their [trainees] career path so that they know there is a future ahead of them and that's important because if take the large operations that have opened here, the Allen and Overys, the Baker MacKenzies, they employ a large number of people, creating a more competitive environment for the recruitment of people.
"Our staff tend to be very loyal for the reason that we do offer them a career path"
In the candid interview, Peter also plots out his journey into law from boarding school, to studying economics, to working at his father's law practice, Roddy RB Campbell post-qualification. He also describes how the recent decision to reduce the discount rate for personal injury claims to -1.75% will have a "significant impact" on insurers and the health service.
