National Inclusion Week: Our Gender Inclusion Network

Whilst it may be our newest EDI Network at BLM, our Gender Inclusion Network is already making great strides, engaging with colleagues on so many important issues which impact us all.

The Network was created to promote awareness and tackle gender related issues including but not limited to Working families, Gender Pay gap, domestic abuse and gender-based violence, returning to work following parental/maternity leave, menopause, fertility, and mental health and suicide awareness. So far the Network has pledged support for the Employers’ Initiative on Domestic Abuse and BLM has become an official member of the organisation. Most recently, the Network hosted a session with Sands to support any colleagues experiencing baby or pregnancy loss, looking at ways they can be supported.

The next meeting of our Gender Inclusion Network will take place today at 12pm. This will be an opportunity for our colleagues to learn more about the network, its aims and current activity and to contribute to its development.
