BLM partner Michael Salau is speaking at the forthcoming Impact Forum event, highlighting risks relating to alternative and renewable energy.
The Forum, which takes place on 3 December at 30 St Mary Axe (The Gherkin) is entitled “Alternative energies: risk horizon” and is sponsored by BLM. The event forms part of Post Events’ Lloyd’s and London Market series and will feature a range of topical discussions on the insurance demands of new renewable energy projects.
Michael will be involved in a panel discussion with Matthew Yau, director of renewable energy at Lloyd Warwick International. They will examine claims management for niche alternative energy and the risks and potential claims relating to the changing state of renewable energy, the challenges associated with handling claims in this area and the considerations required to manage the claim as effectively as possible.
The Forum will be opened by Stephanie Denton, the editor of Post and a full agenda is available on the event website, including instructions on how to register your attendance.
