Live football streaming - illegal, parasitic or simply a sign of the times?

27 Sep 2018

BLM's intellectual property lawyer, Partner, Steve Kuncewicz joined BBC Radio 5 Live's Phil Williams on his evening show, last night (Wednesday, 26 Sept), to debate football streaming following the recent outburst from Sunderland AFC's director that footballs fans who live stream are 'parasites'.  Steve sets out the context for this, given as he says, that those pubs or fans wanting to watch every football game live these days have to take out multiple subscriptions given 'the issue around broadcasting is that football is cut up into lots of little pieces'.

Listen again to the discussion in full from 22 - 29 minutes in via this link, live for the next 30 days.
