Legal update - Disabled Claimants: Compensation for the disabled

BLM lawyer Chris Gambs has provided the latest legal update for Post Magazine which examines Billett v Ministry of Defense - a case which provides guidance on assessing future loss of earnings claims for partially disabled claimants.

"These cases can be costly, so a clear understanding of the best approach is important to control spend. There is a complex spectrum of factors to assess when valuing compensation for a particular claimant. Some partially disabled claimants may find the injury has little impact on their current and future employment, whereas for others the disadvantage may be significant..."
