LASPO Part 2 - seminar for post-implementation review

27 Jun 2018

Paul Wainwright represents BLM when he joins a panel on Friday 29 June at a seminar being held by the Civil Justice Council to facilitate a discussion of the Government’s Post-implementation review of Part II of the Legal Aid, Sentencing & Punishment of Offenders Act 2012.

Paul joins a panel session covering QOCs, ATEs and success fees, amongst other aspects, and alongside other regulatory bodies and representatives. The day long programme will focus on the key impacts of Part II, whether the reforms have reduced litigation costs and made those costs more proportionate; what the effect has been on access to justice; and any unintended consequences – with what suggestions for addressing any ongoing problems?
