08 Aug 2016

David Hertzell has spoken to Commercial Risk Europe about the imminent implementation of the Insurance Act and how he expects it to usher in a more professional approach to insurance placement.

David says that, "the Act will probably create a flurry of legal disputes as insurers look to test aspect of the new legislation." He also commented that the fact there will be disputes "is all right and proper as it will give greater clarity."

David goes on to say that he believes, in the longer term, that the Act should deliver higher professional standards when it comes to placing insurance contacts.
