Helen Devery to speak at Australian WHS Prosecution and Enforcement conference

BLM partner and head of health and safety, Helen Devery will speak from London at the WHS Prosecution and Enforcement Conference, which is being held in Melbourne, Australia.

Speaking to the delegates via Skype, Helen will join speakers from Australian law firms, regulatory bodies and industry groups to present an international case study on Exploring the application of industrial manslaughter law in the UK and its impact on regulatory and safety outcomes.

Helen will discuss what Australia can learn from applications of industrial manslaughter in the UK and tangible facts from successful prosecutions and understanding what made them successful. She will also review the impact of industrial manslaughter to overall safety performance and fatality rates.
