BLM health and safety expert, Sally Hancock has spoken to Health and Safety Matters about the steps to take if you find yourself at the helm during a workplace related fatality.
Speaking about the legal requirements, Sally said, "...organisations must be fully prepared. Sally warns, "If dealt with inappropriately, reputational risk to the organisation is high – especially if the media are following the inquest – whilst an ill-thought out legal strategy can lead to significant penalties, including criminal charges or a civil claim."
