FCA 'still worried' about poor behaviour by claims management companies

Speaking at the most recent Fraud Charter meeting by Insurance Times, BLM's Director of Intelligence, Ben FitzHugh shared his concerns about how CMCs regularly over exaggerating the genuine nature of a claim to intentionally dupe the claimant into thinking they have more of an element to a claim than they actually do.

Seated amongst other industry leaders in the insurance fraud sector, Ben stressed that education is needed in terms of actually presenting a claim.
