EL rate hikes a consequence of 'disproportionate' Scottish asbestos plans

BLM partner and chairman of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers in Scotland, Tony Murray has spoken to Post Magazine about the proposed changes to make insurers liable for the medical costs of treating asbestos diseases in Scotland.

"...it seems to be focused on benefitting the state [because the NHS would receive money] rather than claimants and there would definitely be a substantial administrative cost. It would be very surprising if it goes through..."
