BLM's Ciara McReynolds speaks to the Law Society of Ireland Gazette on the Redress Scheme and what impact COVID-19 will have on its progress.
Speaking to The Law Society of Ireland, Ciara said: "...the anticipated delays would not deter survivors from going ahead with claims. While the process is slightly different than anticipated, this will not put off survivors or solicitors acting on their behalf making applications."
Ciara goes on to talk in more detail about the scheme itself, what progress has already been made, associated costs and how processes have had to be moved online to continue momentum in the current Coronavirus climate.
