Climbing the career ladder

18 Aug 2015

Jonny Taylor is working his way up the legal career ladder without going to university and without student debt.

Trainee Legal Executive Jonny, based in Leeds, went straight into work following his A Levels and enrolled with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) on a course which was fully funded by BLM.

Jonny’s success has seen him featured in The Sun newspaper as an example of what young people can achieve without a university education and interviewed on BBC Radio Leeds, which you can download here.

The CILEx route is open to any student with English and Maths GCSEs of grade A to C and no prior legal knowledge is required.

Visit www.cilex.org.uk to find out more about the course.
