BLM wins Commercial Insurance Law Firm of the Year Award

04 Mar 2016

Insurance and risk law specialist, BLM has taken home the prestigious Commercial Insurance Law Firm of the Year Award at the Commercial Insurance Awards 2016.

The Commercial Insurance Awards, hosted by CIR magazine, showcase excellence within commercial business insurance. The Awards are unique in rewarding the particular issues around the insurance of commercial enterprises, and were created to allow the commercial insurance sector to shine.

The Commercial Insurance Law Firm of the Year Award was awarded to BLM based on its Time for Change campaign around the Insurance Act. According to the criteria, 'this award recognised the firm, or team within a firm, that has done most to help their clients and provide exceptional service. Examples of work could include preparation for the Insurance Act, work on mergers and acquisitions or representing the interests of clients in other areas. In all cases, the judges want to see the scope of the work carried out, the resources available, and a testimony from the client.'

Other Commercial Insurance Award winners for 2016 include LV=, Markel International, Xchanging, NIG and CFC Underwriting, amongst others.
