Building personal professionalism and a corporate culture is on the agenda next month as Jennette Newman, head of Lloyd’s and London Market at BLM assumes her position on a panel at the eagerly anticipated MGAA Conference.
Taking place on 6 July, the MGAA conference’s overriding theme is the ‘future shape of delegated authority’ and speakers include representatives from AIG, Arch Insurance Company (Europe) Ltd, Qatar Reinsurance Company Ltd, RSA, Grant Thornton, amongst others.
In addition to the personal professionalism panel during which Jennette will be joined by Sian Fisher and Simon Graham (CII), Duncan Minty (Duncan Minty Associates) and Angela Peacock (People Development Team), the conference will also delve into the macroeconomic claims trends throughout 2016/17. Presenting the findings from BLM’s own macroeconomic series of research will be partners Lucy Tolond, Victoria Kennedy and Philip Adamis who will each uncover risks specific to professional indemnity, casualty and property and the environment.
