BLM associate James Jevon and solicitor, Sarbjit Bisla will host an Airmic Academy event on 22 September at BLM's London office in Plantation Place.
The workshop, which is for Airmic members only, will focus on the recent increase in fines for health and safety offences. James and Sarbjit will present a workshop to attendees, based on a real incident which led to prosecution at the Old Bailey. They will highlight the role and responsibilities of the enforcement authorities and the employer/defendant along with the importance of gathering evidence early in the investigation, PACE interviews and strategy. In addition, there will also be an experienced criminal barrister in attendance to provide input on the issues facing the Trial Advocate.
