Congratulations to BLM’s resourcing team on being shortlisted for the Best Newcomer award at the 2015 In-House Recruitment Awards.
The recognition comes following a year in which the resourcing team has successfully transitioned from using agencies completely to deal with the recruitment process to now being in a position where 80% of recruitment is done directly in house, reducing the agency spend by £285,000 in the first year alone.
The team has achieved this success by building a team of experienced recruitment advisors, introducing a new recruitment process, putting the candidates at the centre of the process regardless of the outcome and organising and running regular recruitment events across a number of offices, which has generated multiple offers.
The award criteria highlights that “starting an in-house recruitment function from scratch takes an enormous effort. This award recognises those companies that are new to in-house recruitment and have demonstrated success in a vastly challenging environment.”
The award ceremony will take place on 26 November at London’s Hilton Metropole Hotel. Good luck to the team.
