BLM has strengthened its casualty team with the addition of new partner, Caroline Craigie. Caroline joins the firm’s London office from Kennedys LLP.
Caroline has over 17 years’ experience in the casualty space, handling employers’ liability and public liability matters. Caroline handles international claims, including product liability and personal injury claims arising out of accidents abroad. She also manages catastrophic injury claims including spinal cord and head injuries, amputations and fatal accidents claims.
During her career, Caroline has spent time on secondment at major London Market insurers.
Jonathan Clay, head of the general insurance sector at BLM, said: “I am delighted that Caroline has joined the firm, particularly in such an exciting time in our development. She is a great addition, adding to our already strong casualty and catastrophic injury teams.
“We are committed to investing in people, and Caroline’s appointment is part of that as we look to achieve our strategic objectives and provide the best possible services for our customers.”
Caroline commented: “Moving to a firm that has the breadth and scale of BLM is an incredibly exciting opportunity. The business has an impressive roster of customers in the risk and insurance market and has worked on some of the largest, precedent cases in the industry. I am excited to be a part of the team.”
