BLM has been recognised as a Best Law Firm by The Times for a third consecutive year. The firm has been recognised for insurance, personal injury, clinical negligence and professional negligence throughout England and Wales as well as for personal injury and clinical negligence in Scotland. The Times and the independent market-research company Statista conducted surveys among thousands of lawyers and used their responses to identify the leading 200 law firms in England & Wales, and the top 40 in Scotland.
In addition, the firm is delighted to have been ranked as a Best Law Firm in Northern Ireland by the Belfast Telegraph. Announced on 5 November the nomination highlights the firm's specialties in Northern Ireland under Commercial Dispute Resolution and Insurance. More on that can be found here.
BLM Senior Partner Matthew Harrington commented on the ranking: “Much like last year, we have continued to make progress in such difficult times and I personally continue to be inspired and motivated by my BLM colleagues, all of whom have contributed to this award. We have a truly dedicated, expert workforce and this award is a true testament to them.
“Highlights for us this year include the continued enhancement of our Innovations suite, which now comprises eight smart tools for cutting edge case management and analytics. In addition we have just launched BLM Clarity, our new flexible legal subscription service aimed at making legal support more accessible and with clients’ ever evolving needs in mind.”
BLM has been ranked as a finalist in several other industry awards this year including the British Insurance Awards, where it was a finalist in the Outsourced Partner of the Year category. The firm was also shortlisted in four categories at this year’s Insurance Post Claims and Fraud Awards.
