BLM is now a proud member of EWIF – which stands for encouraging women into franchising. EWIF’s mission is to “inspire, encourage, educate and support women considering or involved in franchising through a network of ambassadors”.
EWIF has three clear objectives: to help and support women looking to become franchisees, encouraging women to expand their business through franchising and encouraging franchisors to target more women as franchise owners, particularly where women are underrepresented. EWIF partners with other professionals in the franchise industry, and its own network of members to offer support to members and prospective franchisees in their journey to build a successful business.
EWIF is a not for profit organisation that enters its tenth year next year. EWIF continues to go from strength to strength; supporting women looking for a route into the industry. The organisation is run entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers.
BLM is delighted to have joined EWIF, and as part of the firm’s membership, it will provide half hour free advice to interested parties and look to support EWIF and members by contributing to workshops and events, reflecting BLM’s commitment to helping SMEs through its commercial advisory practice. It also supports the firm’s robust equality and diversity initiatives.
