BLM has announced the appointment of Vivienne Williams as its new managing partner. Vivienne assumes her position on 17 July for a period of three years.Vivienne replaces Gary Allison who has retired from BLM after 23 years at the firm.
Vivienne has been a partner at BLM for 20 years. She was a member of the firm’s Executive Board for three years before heading both the Claims Solutions Business Stream and the Large Loss and Technical Business Stream. During this time, Vivienne has been responsible for the quality of products, service delivery and performance within those areas at the firm and is the customer relationship partner for one of the firm’s major insurer customers.
As Managing Partner Vivienne will oversee the implementation of the firm’s strategy and the management of the firm, whilst supporting the progress of the firm’s business improvement programme.
Commenting on her appointment, Vivienne said: “I am extremely passionate about our firm. We have so many talented colleagues around the business who are all working hard to make our firm a success and I look forward to working more closely with them all. BLM has made a number of strategic decisions over the last 12-18 months which has meant a great deal of change at the firm. I pledge to work closely with colleagues throughout the firm, to ensure that BLM is a great place to work and also continues to move in the right direction.
