BLM becomes first top 50 law firm to join Good Recruitment Campaign

BLM, the leading insurance and risk law specialist in the UK and Ireland, has become the first top 50 law firm to sign up to the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s (REC) Good Recruitment Campaign.

BLM has pledged its commitment to the Good Recruitment Charter which comprises nine aspirational principles of good recruitment practice. The Charter includes a provision to be fair, ethical and legal in resource planning and recruitment procedures.

Other members of the Campaign, which has been running since April 2014 include, Arsenal FC, CIPD, Kingston University, LV= and McDonalds.

Louise McCarthy Teague, HR Director at BLM said: “We are very proud to sign up to the Good Recruitment Campaign; it was a very easy decision for us. The campaign is created by employers, for employers and provides lots of valuable self-assessment tools for us to measure and monitor our procedures. It is also important that existing staff benefit from best practice principles that we are demonstrating as an employer. This in turn, makes a huge impact on the overall success of the business.”
