Insurance risk and commercial law firm BLM has secured a place on the Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water panel.
Following a panel review, the utility provider announced earlier this month that it was awarding 24 contracts across a number of legal areas. BLM is thrilled to have been awarded a place on the insurance and litigation panels.
BLM has represented Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water since 2017 when it first secured a place on the company’s insurance panel. Client relationship partner Kerris Dale led the tender on behalf of the firm and advises Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water, alongside partners James Harvey, Caroline Kane and a wider team of lawyers throughout the UK.
Commenting on the appointment, Kerris said: “We are pleased to continue our close working relationship with the team at Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water and supporting them over the next five years. We have provided litigation services to water and utility companies for over 15 years and fully understand the requirements of clients working in such tightly regulated industries - not just advising them on the specific law applicable to claims made against them, but also in the technical detail of the industry.”
