Congratulations to BLM solicitor Kelly Brotherhood and BLM partner Caroline Gillespie who were members of the winning team which took home an award at this year’s Scott + Co Legal Awards.
Kelly and Caroline were nominated as part of the Royal Faculty of Procurators Glasgow (RFPG) and Trainee and Newly Qualified (TANQ) Society which won the coveted prize of Training Provider of the Year. The award recognises high quality post-qualification training providers for the legal profession.
The team were presented with the award at a recent gathering at the Edinburgh Assembly Rooms, during which 18 firms collected awards. Click here to see some photographs of the evening.
Kelly has been a member of the TANQ committee for three years and Caroline became a member of council of the RFPG last year. BLM partner Andrew Gilmour also served on the RPFG Council for three years until June 2014.
The RFPG’s role is to serve the needs of the legal profession in Glasgow and West Central Scotland, providing members with access to a large law library, a well-regarded CPD education programme, the services of an auditor and a venue in the city centre for a wide variety of events. The Royal Faculty of Procurators also acts as a representative body for solicitors practicing in the Glasgow area.
