“Motor and liability – supporting claimants and reducing costs” is on the agenda at the forthcoming Association of British Insurers (ABI) biennial conference as BLM’s director of policy and government affairs, Alistair Kinley takes to the stage. He will be joined by a panel of well-respected industry stakeholders from RSA, the Ministry of Justice and The Law Society of England and Wales to debate the progress made in taking unnecessary costs out of the compensation system. Together the panel members will look at how the industry can ensure that genuine victims of industrial deafness and whiplash are supported and explore what can be done to improve outcomes for customers.
The conference, which takes place on 3 November, is set to be the largest and most significant gathering of insurers and stakeholders, bringing together industry leaders, prominent politicians and regulators to debate the major issues affecting the industry. You can find out more about the conference, including a full list of speakers on the ABI website.
