BLM’s vacation scheme gives you the opportunity to spend two weeks in one of our offices. You’ll be paired up with one of our current trainees and will have the opportunity to really get to grips with what we do ‘day to day’. You’ll work with our partners and associates too, contributing to live cases and be given real responsibility.
During your vacation scheme you will also have the opportunity to network with colleagues outside of your team so you can start building relationships and start to get to know our people. We will provide you with a blend of practice group presentations, training and other development opportunities too. It’s not all work though – we will also arrange a number of social events.
The vacation scheme isn’t just about you impressing us… it’s also about you deciding if we’re the right firm for you.
BLM aims to recruit a high proportion of our trainee solicitors from the vacation schemes. As you will have already been through the recruitment process our graduate recruitment team will use the feedback from you and your supervisors to make this decision. Last year over 70% of participants secured a training contract with BLM.
