We are pleased to invite you to our seminar, “Life Expectancy; the mathematical, clinical and legal aspects”. This seminar will look at how this important aspect of catastrophic injury claims can be addressed to mitigate claims costs, taking account of both the impact of accidental injuries and pre-existing factors in a claimant’s medical history.

In addition to BLM lawyers speakers will be:

  • Professor David Bowen Jones – Consultant Physician  and Honorary Professor
  • Professor Wagih El Masri, Clinical Professor in Spinal Injuries, Keele University
  • Patrick Blakesley QC, Crown Office Chambers

As always, this event may be watched via live web link, which has proved a popular option. In addition, a recording of this (and other events) will be available on the BLM website in our Catastrophic injury expertise centre. A live stream test is taking place on Wednesday 13 November 2019 at 1.00pm. We encourage anyone intending to view via live stream to use the link in conjunction with their IT teams to ensure a connection can be made. (Test link).
